Am I late or what?

You know when you download a lot of songs, forget to listen to some of them and then rediscover it later? Well thats what happened to me a few days ago when I was listening to my ipod and I came across this song, The Bunny Hop by Da Entourage.

Now that I've actually listened to the song, I cant stop playing it. I workout to it, dance to it, pregame to the song and of course blast it when I'm driving.

Apparently it came out 2 years ago? Have any of you ever heard of this song or even the group? My impression is that the group is from the south, so thats probably why Ive never heard of them or their song until now.

Anyways heres the song

Anchors Aweigh

Aye Aye Captain !
Summer is always a perfect time to break out those stripes and go nautical. I loveeee wearing stripes because they definitely play up your curves, especially in this shirt.

I wore this outfit to my friends birthday dinner, but if you couple the shirt with a different pair of jean shorts (or shoes) you surely could wear it out {I wish I took a picture of the back of the shirt because the other side is just white lace}.

Shirt: Macys [forget the brand name, but its on sale right now]
Shorts: Forever 21

Opening Day at the Track

This past weekend was opening day at the track, a major event in my area that marks the beginning of the horse racing season. A day at the track (especially opening day) is filled with betting, drinking, and socializing all while you're dressed to impress. People from all over the nation come to experience the races for its rich history and aristocratic scene.

Every summer, my mom and her friends go to the track on the weekends to bet, drink and go out after. This year, I joined my mom and her friends on opening day where we sat in the clubhouse, a reserved section with table seating and a dress code to match.

The races started at 1 and by the time we got there it was POURING. Even though we had seats inside the clubhouse, the wind made sure we got sprayed. Eventually the rain let up, our drinks settled in and we stopped caring. Once the races finished, we all ended up going out. My friend and I split to another club downtown where we were forced to take jaggerbombs by fist pumping guidos [no joke] but thats a whole nother story.

Here are some of the pics from that day. I didnt get to take as many as I wanted too because of the rain and how it made everyone look/feel.

My friend and I. Notice 1.) the rain and 2.) how straight her hair is now

Inside the clubhouse. Lipgloss is always essential

Daytrippin in the City

About a week ago, my roommate from Cali flew into the city for her birthday weekend. So to celebrate her arrival on the east coast, I of course went into the city to visit her along with two of our good friends.

My roommates from freshman year.

We stayed in the city pretty much all day, and when you spend that much time in the city you're bound to run into some interesting (lets be real here) crazy people. Now, I've been in and around the city all my life and I've never had an encounter like this before:

It all started in Bryant Park. My friends and I decided to spend some quality time in the park by eating outside and taking pics. As day turned into night, the freaks started to come out. My friends and I were taking pictures of ourselves in the park, which inevitably drew attention....

from a homeless man. I unwillingly ended up taking a picture with him. He also refused to leave us alone until we took another photo of him.

New yorks finest

People never cease to amaze me.

Messin Around

ooh how I love to play dress up. I mean what girl doesnt? It makes you feel sooo good about yourself, especially when youre bored.

Anyways, here is one of my FAVORITE dresses from American Apparel which can be worn 7 different ways. I was thinking of wearing this dress to opening day at the track this weekend, but according to my mother its not dressy enough. Wah. Guess i'll have to wait til I go back to school where I can wear it out.

On the bright side, I get to buy a new dress. No word on whether mumsys paying for it or not. [Hopefully she is].

First blog post...ever !

Its the summertime and I'm a bored college student. Other than working and partying with friends, the only thing I do is laze around my house. So for the first time this summer I thought that I would do something for myself, you know, since I have all this free time on my hands.

Throughout this summer I've been constantly questioning my life and decided that I want need to document all the mishaps, adventures and interests that is my life. I've never been one to keep a diary because when you're as devious as me, you just don't have the time to do such things [except that now I do].

So with that said, I will be blogging//documenting//cataloging my plethora of interests and the various adventures that is my life.
